2013 Scattsblog review

The folks at WordPress do this annual summary of blog stats, which can be accessed below. 2013 was statistically the WORST year this blog has ever witnessed. Only 54 posts for the entire year and if you ignore the resurgence in December that number goes down to 40. I’ve had many occasions in the early years when I did that many posts a month!

I think 100 posts a year is the minimum anyone should expect so – must try harder. Will try harder.

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2013 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 13,000 times in 2013. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 5 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
