Nutless Nelson
“I’m sure there’s something missing down here!”
A round of applause please for the amazing Nelson! I dropped him at the vet this morning for his de-nutification process expecting that he’d be in a sorry state when I got him back home this evening. Far from it. This cat has never even heard of the phrase “A shadow of his former self”. He was a big hit with the vet lady and has come home almost as if nothing happened. He was straight for the food dish and downed a full serving of wet food in about 10 seconds followed by helpings of the dry food as well.
He washed it all down with a drink of water and then looked around as if to say “So, what’s up dude?!”
Okay, he’s a little quiet and very slightly wobbly on his feet but there’s no question that he’s come through this whole nut-chopping process a hell of a lot better than I would have! Three cheers for Nelson – hip hip……..
