Liverpool 1-2 Barnsley
The world renowned footballing giants of Barnsley FC, currently 14th in the fizzy-pop league, have dumped Liverpool out of the FA Cup today. Were I a Liverpool fan, I would not be typing this as I would have already committed seppuku (a form of Japanese ritual suicide by disembowelment). For my team this would be something entirely expected. It is our trademark to beat people like Man U and then lose to Upper Thropmorton FC. But this is Liverpool, a once great (once being the operative word) club with a global following. What on earth are all those Filipinos going to do now? This is embarrassment in the extreme.
Raffa, the fat lady is singing her heart out. Close the door on your way out.
I am going to add a “woot woot!” to that. I think it’s the end of Rafa, but really he should have gone during the group stage of the Champions’ League. That was not good either.
